Homeward Bound

Pastor Sal Massa

In just a few hours we will be locking and loading the last of our belongings and heading to the airport. Six weeks have come and gone by so fast. The last few days have been a time of reflecting on what has happened and planning for what will happen in the future. I was asked to evaluate the current operating systems for the office technology. I am no expert but know enough to suggest needed upgrades. I will give my report to David Samuel when we get back to the US.

Jaya has been my guide through the shops of Commercial Street. It was great fun “girlfriend” shopping with her. Sal has been busy working on his sermon for next Sunday. It will be good to see the church family again.  We miss them and we miss our children and grand kids as well.

As we turn our hearts towards home, we are in a state of expectation regarding our future. Life is about to change. We will put our home back on the market and hopefully sell it quickly. Lake Country Bible Church will call a new senior pastor and a transition period will take place. Once that is accomplished, we will turn the page and begin a new chapter. By beginning of summer we plan to relocate to our new home in Estero, Florida. We will launch a speaking ministry which we are calling Cross Angle Ministries. Our web site should be up and running this spring. Sal already has an invitation to conduct an End Time Conference and teach a class at a local Bible College in Fort Myers. We are scheduling conferences in several locations in India for next January-March.

As long as God gives us strength and good health, we plan to continue serving Him through teaching and speaking. I also say, We are not retired, we are re-fired. We are so grateful for the life God has given us. We consider our part in ministry as a simple “Thank You, Lord!”

Only fear the LORD, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great [things] he hath done for you.                                                                               1 Samuel 12:24

Please pray for us in the coming days as we make our way back to the states. Pray also for us to quickly recover from the dreaded jet lag. We have much ahead of us and need to be in top condition.
